한글필적감정 판단율에 영향을 미치는 요인

A study on the factors to influence the conclusion ratio of Hangul handwriting identification

필적은 같은 사람의 필적도 기재시 마다 변화하기 때문에 이를 대상으로 하는 필적감정 결과는 감정인들 간에도 차이가 있을 수 있다. 이로 인하여 필적감정 결과를 둘러싼 논란은 빈번하다. 본 연구에서는 한글필적감정에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 밝히기 위하여 실제 필적감정사건 110건을 분석하였다. 분석의 요인들은 문제필적의 양, 비교필적의 양, 비교필적을 작성한 사람의 수, 비교필적이 평소필적인지 여부 등이며 이러한 요인들이 판단율에 어떠한 영향을 주는지를 분석하였다. 단순한 판단율 비교에서는 의미있는 차이를 보인 요인들도 통계적 검정을 실시한 결과, 유의미한 차이가 있다고 보기 어려운 경우가 많았다. 비교필적의 작성자 수는 판단율에 통계적으로 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으나, 다른 분석대상 요인들에서는 통계적으로 의미있는 영향을 미친다고 할 수 없었다. 보다 정확한 감정결과를 얻기 위해서는 비교필적 작성자 수를 복수로 한정하여 감정을 의뢰하는 것이 중요하다. 또한, 평소필적 수집방법, 시필채취방법 등을 감정의뢰자들이 숙지하여 그에 따라 감정자료를 수집하는 것이 필요하다.

In handwriting identification, document examiners' opinions have not been always consistent, because no one can write exactly same everytime. So, there has been much argument about the results of handwriting identification. In this study, we analysed 110 real cases to find factors which influence on the results of handwriting identification. There are factors such as the amount of Questioned handwritings and known handwritings, the number of known handwriting writers, the type of known handwritings (usual handwriting or not), and the number of Questioned handwritings and known handwritings. It seemed that some factors show difference in simple conclusion ratio, but statistically, the difference was not significant. The number of known handwriting writers had statistically meaningful influence on the conclusion ratio, but other factors did not. For more accurate and reliable results, it is important that the number of known handwriting writer should be plural. And, the method of collecting usual handwriting and handwriting for identification should be known to the judges or prosecutors who request handwriting identification.
