미술교육자의 인식으로 본 창의성 발현 요인

Art Educators'Perceptions about the Influencing Factors for Creativity

본 연구는 미술교육자들이 인식하는 미술에서의 창의성 발현을 위한 핵심 요인들을 제안하고, 이들 간의 영향 관계를 규명하고자 하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 본 연구에서는 미술창의성 발현을 위한 핵심 요인의 탐색과 이들 간의 영향 관계에 대한 교육자들의 인식을 규명하기 위하여 15명의 전문가들을 대상으로 하는 델파이 조사와 총 249명의 미술교육자들의 응답을 분석하여 최종 요인 체계를 도출하였다. 그 결과 미술에서의 창의성을 판단하는 핵심적인 기준으로 사고의 독창성, 새로운 시각적 표현, 미술 지평의 확장이 제안되었으며 미술 창의성에 영향을 미치는 요인은 크게 창의적 환경, 창의적 사고력, 창작에의 몰입, 시각적 문해력 요인이 제안되었다. 이들 요인간의 영향 관계에 대한 인식 조사 결과 창의적 환경은 사고력(.45), 몰입 능력(.42), 시각적 문해력(.30)과 같은 개인 요인에 영향을 미치며, 창의적 사고력(.47), 창작에의 몰입(.29), 시각적 문해력(.32)은 미술에서의 창의성에 영향을 미치는 것으로 인식되고 있었다. 이를 바탕으로 본 연구에서는 선행 연구와 차별화되는 점을 제안하고 미술에서의 창의성 발현을 위하여 인지적 능력, 정의적 특성, 영역 관련 기술에 대한 인식의 변화와 창의적 환경 구성을 위한 정책적인 지원의 필요성을 제안하였다.

This study explored the evaluation criteria for and factors influencing creativity in the arts as perceived by a group of art educators; we then analyzed their perceptions of the relationships among the factors. We explored the first research question with 15 experts in art education; their creativity evaluation criteria and perceptions of influencing factors were examined using the Delphi method study. And We examined the importance of the above perceptions to 294 art educators working in elementary, middle, and high schools, as well as universities. Consequently, art educators' perceived effectiveness of a creative environment on creative thinking, flow experience during creation, and visual literacy was .45, .42, and .30, respectively. Further, the effectiveness of each factor-creative thinking, flow experience during creation, and visual literacy-on creativity was .47, .29, and .32, respectively. These findings have implications for art education. First, we recommend the need for a transition in the perception of cognitive abilities, affective characteristics, and domain-specific techniques suggested by previous studies, and recommend more varied approaches to develop creativity in art education. We recommend the development of relevant assessment tools and criteria, and suggest the need for supporting environmental factors that art educators perceive to be necessary.
