A Study on Arabic Variety and It's Character

The aim of this study is to explore variation in Arabic. Variation is one of the major current interests in Linguistics, and variation in Arabic is of particular interest to me. This study seeks to look at Arabic variation in light of current theories and methods of the analysis of language variation. The major goal of this study is more to contribute to an understanding Arabic than to explore or develop any linguistic theory. In other words, by using current study (Ferguson (1959), Blanc(1960), Bandawi(1973), Schmidt(1974), Meisedes(1975), Salib(1979), Benyamin(1993)), I wish to further the understanding of Arabic and Arabic variation.
