A Study of Image of Sex in Yahya Haqqi's Short Stories

This is a study of image of sex reflected in Yahya Haqqi's short stores. A Egyptian writer, Yahya Haqqi, has more importance to the development of Arabic short stories. In an attempt to reach its aim, this paper consists of five chapters. The first chapter explains clearly the purpose of this writing, in consideration with Yahya Haqqi's role in discussing first the sex issue as one component for human mind, in his short stories. Therefore in second, third and forth chapter respectively through the analysis of his literature, I deal with how the image of sex reflected and represented. I have chose the short stories, i. e., the perfume bottle, a story of the prison and KuKu, among his literary works for this aim. Finally in conclusions, I reach the characteristics of his image of sex in him.
