Developing Presentation Materials for Teaching Arabic in the Classroom through PowerPoint

This study was implemented to find a way to apply PowerPoint to teaching the Arabic language to the Korean students at the beginner's level. Nowadays, PowerPoint has become one of he major instructional tools in teaching foreign languages since PowerPoint can arouse great interest among the learners through the integration of text, sound, image and moving picture. To accomplish the aim properly, I have tried to present a model for teaching Arabic in the classroom using dynamic slide materials produced by PowerPoint. It is believed that the use of PowerPoint as one of multimedia presentation tools will help learners of the Arabic language to improve their linguistic skills and change the classroom into a lively one.
