The Slavo-Slavic Translation: Lexicons of St. Kliment Ohridski

본 연구는 클리멘트 오흐리드스키의 주요 작품가운데 하나인 "키릴 찬미가"에 대한 현대 불가리아어 번역을 비교 분석한 것이다. 연구의 자료는 "키릴 찬미가"의 교회예배용어와 성경 인용구의 번역 양상을 살피고자 한다. 전반적으로 현대 불가리아어 번역은 어원적 원형에 충실하려는 경향을 보인다. 번역이라는 작업의 특성상 원문의 왜곡은 필수적이지만, 언어 형식적인 면과 의미적인 면이 상호보완하여 원전에 가장 가까운 번역을 하고자 노력한다. 본 고에서는 교회예배용어와 성경구 인용문을 통하여 번역에 있어서 언어 형식과 의미간 상관관계를 살펴보고자 한다.

This article analyzes lexical choices of present-day translators of the Old Bulgarian text by St. Kliment Ohridski of „Eulogy to st. Cyril", in particular selections of translators in the process of translating „Похвално слово за св. Кирил Философ" into contemporary bulgarian language. In the article is compared uniformity and diversity between the translations of Kliment's lexicons in the contemporary bulgarian translations. Also are analyzed ways of church terminologies and Bible citations. The reasons for different translator's solution are seeked in many levels: possibilities and word ranges of the translator, concerning the tentative readers. Also is noted that artificial archaization of target language not always corresponds accurate style and text messages of Klement's text. Also is shown the role of recognizing biblical quotes and their translations and the role of how the translation hints the text meanings to readers.
