1989년 루마니아 혁명의 성격 규명 및 이를 통한 북한 체제전환에 대한 시사점 도출

Characteristics of the Romanian Revolution of December 1989 and Some Implications for North Korean Regime Change

본 연구의 목적은 1989년 말 루마니아에서 발생한 민주화 혁명의 실체를 밝히고 이 혁명을 기폭제로 이루어진 루마니아 체제 붕괴의 동인(動因)이 무엇인가에 대한 본질적 측면을 살펴보는 것이다. 지금까지 89년 혁명과 관련된 다양한 분석이 제기되고 있는 바 이를 비판적 관점에서 검토하며, 추가적으로 새롭게 발굴된 문한자료 분석과 주요 인사들과의 인터뷰를 통해서 89년 혁명의 실체적 진실에 좀 더 다가서고자 한다. 또한 본 연구의 성과가 단지 루마니아의 현대사의 한 부분을 연구하는데 그치지 않고, 이와 유사한 상황에 있는 북한 체제를 비교적 관점에서 분석함으로써 향후 북한의 체제전환에 있어서 하나의 시사점을 도출하고자 한다. 상기의 목적을 위해서 루마니아 민주화 혁명 및 혁명 전후의 구체적인 상황들을 살펴볼 것이다. 또한 혁명 당시 루마니아의 내부적인 상황에 주목하여 체제붕괴의 동인을 규명함과 동시에 외부적 측면에서 89년 혁명과 관련된 동유럽의 체제붕괴 도미노 현상이 루마니아 혁명에 미친 영향을 살펴볼 것이다.

The purpose of this study is to investigate true nature of the Romanian revolution of December 1989 and the essential aspects of destruction of Romanian politico-economic system. I will reexamine the diverse analysis which were presented until now and by adding newly discovered archive materials related I will try to reach to the substantial truth of the 1989 Romanian revolution. This study is not only for the Romanian modern history but also for the comparison study for understanding North Korean Case which is considered very similar with Ceauşescu regime of Romania. For these purposes, I will examine the Romanian Revolution of December 1989 and concrete situations of before and after Revolution, internal and external factors of destruction of Romanian politico-economic system.
