'Umar 'Abu Rīshah's Love Poetry Gazal and Woman

'Umar 'Abu Rīshah is one of the most famous lebanese poets in arabic love poetry "Gazal". He wrote not a few of love poetry Gazal in his life and tried to modernity of Gazal not only in the theme but also in the form. But he was not noticed by the students of arabic modern poetry including of Gazal. This article is a short attempt to figure out how 'Umar 'Abu Rīshah described arabic women in his love poetry and what is modernity. The interesting phenomenon in modern arabic love poetry is the extent to which the poet is able to enjoy his beloved. This poetry concerns the body in an outspoken manner. However 'Umar's poetry concentrates upon representation lebanese women's mental states and inner life instead of description of her bodies. Besides his poetry characterized by its independent thematic unit apart from the Nasīb. This is the most distinguished modernity in 'Umar's Gazal.
