‘창의적으로 수업하는 교사’의 특징은 무엇인가?:초등학교 A교사에 대한 생애사적 사례 연구

A life historical case study about ‘The teacher who gives creative lessons’

본 연구는 ‘창의적으로 수업하는 교사’의 특징과 배경을 탐구하는 연구이다. 이를 위해 학교현장의 교사들이 인정하는 ‘창의적으로 수업하는 교사’를 대상으로 생애사적 사례 연구를 수행하였다. 본 연구 결과, ‘창의적으로 수업하는 교사’는 초등학교 수학 수업을 하면서, ‘아이가 주인인 수업’을 기초로, ‘구체물로 수업하기’, ‘단계 수업’, ‘놀이 수학’, ‘스스로 찾기’의 수업 전략을 사용하고, 결과적으로 학생들의 ‘몰입과 재미’를 만들어 내는 교사였다. 그리고 이러한 수업을 하는 교사의 배경 맥락은 ‘개인적 성향’,‘멘토 교사’, ‘독서 습관’ 등의 기반 요인의 토대 위에서, ‘상심’, ‘삶의 여유’ 등의 매개 요인이 작용한 것 으로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과를 토대로, 창의적으로 수업을 하는 교사의 네 가지 특징에 대해 논의하였는데, 아이들에 대한 상심, 꾸준한 학습, 책임감과 열정, 아이중심의 관점 등이었다.

The Purpose of this study is to find out the characteristics and background of‘the teacher who gives creative lessons’. For this, we conducted an interview with the teacher who gives creative lessons recognized by the teachers of school.According to the results of the research, the teacher giving creative lessons uses the instructional strategies such as ‘using authentic materials’, ‘stepwise learning activities’, ‘mathematical play’, ‘finding the answers yourself’ based on ‘a student-led class’. With the strategies, the teacher helps students be interested and absorbed in the lesson.The background context of the teacher in on the basis of the ‘personal disposition’, ‘a mentor teacher’, ‘the reading habits’. Then ‘concerns’, ‘leisurely life’act as an intermediary causes.We discussed four characteristics of the teacher who gives creative lessons on the authority of the results of this study. Those are concerns for the children, steady learning, responsibility and passion, and student-centered perspective.
