United Arab Emirates dialects are divided into nomadic dialect of the north - western region, and urban dialect. Nomadic dialect influenced the formation of the Holy Quran. Urban dialect was mixed with of Persian, Indian and English languages. It became a variant showing its regional features. The purpose of this paper is to study Abu dabī's dialect, one of Urban dialects, which is used in United Arab Emirates. Abu dabī's dialect had influenced Tamim and Aasad dialects of the east region in the Arabian peninsula. I will concentrate on the linguistic features of Abu dabī's Arabic in the fields of the phonetic system, and the system of verb forms. United Arab Emirates dialects reflect recent borrowings from other languages, especially Persian, Indian and English. This paper is devided into five chapters. Chapter Ⅱ presents the phonetic characteristics in Abu dabī's dialect. And Chapter Ⅲ deals with the morphonogical systems of verb forms in Abu dabī's dialect. And Chapter Ⅳ the extent of borrowing from foreign languages. Through this study, I hope that Koreans Learning Arabic could find out the relationships of dialects in the Arab region by observing connection of other Arabic dialects' phonetic rules.
