Koran says the evils of alcohol, prohibits from drunken worships, promises the alcohol of the heaven in reward for its stopping, and mentions the drinking as the actions of Satan. And then Sunnah defines alcohol as anything that makes a person drunk whatever name it has, much or little and prohibits it. So to the consumer alcohol Sunnah asks to give 40 or 80 lashes with a whip. After their prophet Muhammad, the four Islamic law schools in 9th and 10th centuries tried to suggest a suitable solution to the different situations and matters occurred in their periods by the first source Koran and the second Sunnah. Examining the formal legal opinion (fatwa) of the four Islamic law schools and the modern fatwas of several Islamic countries (Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Jordan, Arab Emirates, Qatar), I found that they extended and deepened the prohibition law by Koran and Sunnah through confirm, explanation, restriction or limitation. According to this method, Shariah the Islamic law could flexibly meet the any periods and any situations.
