공공임대아파트 거주자의 자녀양육방식과 교육성취욕구에 관한 연구

Study on the Childcare Style and Need of Educational Achievement among Residents of Rental Apartment

최근 임대아파트 종류가 다양해져 선택의 폭이 넓어졌고 임대아파트에 거주하는 거주자들의 계층 또한 다양해지고 있다. 그러나 아직까지 국내 임대아파트 거주자에 대한 연구는 주거만족도에 국한되어 있고 임대아파트 거주자의 특성을 실증적으로 분석한 연구나 자녀양육방식, 교육관을 검증할 수 있는 연구가 진행되지 않았다. 이에 본 연구에서는 실증연구를 통해 임대아파트 거주자의 자녀양육방식과 교육성취욕구를 구체적으로 검증해 보았다. 그 결과 임대아파트에 거주하는 많은 부모가 이상적인 양육방식을 갖고 있으나 성별, 연령, 학력, 직업, 가구의 월소득수준, 현 주거평형, 생활비 최대 지출항목, 가장 어린 자녀의 연령대, 임대아파트에 대한 사회적 시선에 대한 견해에 따라 양육방식에 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또 임대아파트 거주자의 교육성취욕구가 보통 이상이나 학력, 직업, 가구의 월소득수준, 현 주거평형에 따라 교육성취욕구에 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 그러므로 공공임대아파트 거주자를 대상으로 한 자녀양육방식에 대한 교육이나 자녀교육성취에 대한 교육을 실시할 때는 통합교육이 아닌 계층의 욕구나 상황에 따른 분리교육이나 개별교육의 형태로 적용해야 할 것이다.

1. CONTENTS (1) RESEARCH OBJECTIVES This study aims to analyze the child care style and need of educational achievement among the residents of rental apartment using practical approaches. It also aims to find out possible problems in that area and suggest solutions to those problems. (2) RESEARCH METHOD Field survey questionnaire is classified into participants' individual and household's characteristics, their child care style, and the level of need in educational achievement toward their children. Collected data are analyzed with descriptive statistics, one-way ANOVA, coefficient of correlation, and linear regression. (3) RESEARCH FINDINGS The major five findings of this study are as follows. First, the participants' 'affection and self-regulation' in child care attitude shows to be above average, while 'control and hostility' below average. Second, the participants show different child care styles depending on various individual and household characteristics. Third, their need of educational achievement toward their children shows to be above average. Fourth, the participants' individual and household characteristics affect on the differences of educational desire. Fifth, there is a correlation between child care style and the need of educational achievement among the participants. The participants' attitude (affection or control) has a strong impact on their need of educational achievement toward their children. 2. RESULTS When we provide the childcare or educational achievement education for rental apartment residents, we'd better apply not the integrated education but the separate or individual education according to their social strata or situation.
