'NP에게'와 'NP을' 논항을 갖는 동사의 피동

The study on the Passive type of verb having 'NP-ege' and 'NP-eul' arguments -Concerning the two passive types of 'Juda'

The purpose of this paper is to point out two passive types of 'Juda', which have 'NP-ege' and 'NP-eul' arguments, and to describe that passive types are different according to property of them, human noun or inhumanity, that other verbs having 'NP-ege' and 'NP-eul' arguments have this two passive types. First of all, this paper researches how 'Juda' have two passive types. Subject 'NP-i' moved from 'NP-ege' of 'Juda' have 'NP-eul' and 'Patta', Subject 'NP-i' moved from 'NP-eul' of 'Juda' have 'NP-ege' and 'Jueojida'. This difference come from property of NP. NP of 'NP-ege' is human noun and NP of 'NP-eul' is inhumanity. This type are confirmed dative verbs and other verbs that have 'NP-ege' and 'NP-eul' arguments. Futhermore, 'N-hada'(N is two-syllable Sino-Korean and noun or root) verbs have 'NP-ege', 'NP-eul' arguments manifest two passive types, that is 'N-patta', 'N-toeda'. Lexical passive by 'Patta', like this, universal phenomenon in Korean.
