The factors Affecting on Group Decision‐Making Performance In Open Collaboration Platform

Open Collaboration is a pattern of production, collaboration, and innovation. Open Collaboration Platform (OCP) is the new trend to develop the cooperation among people which have the same purpose, target, hobby or Job/Major. However, the development process of OCP strongly defend on the rate of collaboration of the members in the group or organization. This research attempts to explore and investigate the key elements that influence cooperation process and the factors influence to performance of collaboration. Also, we try to find out the relationship between user’s motivation and user’s cooperation to develop the working process through OCP. A questionnaire was constructed and data were collected from 228 participants who joined working process in the OCP. The results of this study will develop a conceptual framework based on cooperating in OCP in Korea.
