The current study examined how employee's psychological empowerment influencedemployee's creativity through the mediation of intrinsic motivation at the individual level. Thestudy was administered on 389 employees belonging to five public and seven private serviceoriented organizations in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. Data were analyzed by Smart PLS 3.0. Thestudy found that both public and private sector organization's employees showed that the partialmediating effects of intrinsic motivation on the relationship between (a) meaning and creativity,(b) self-determination and creativity, and (c) impact and creativity have been found to besignificant, except the (d) competence and creativity. In comparison analysis, public sectoremployees were more psychologically empowered than private sector. This study finds that thepsychological empowerment affects employees creativity and those effects vary based on theirsector difference for each hospital. This sheds light on the necessity for us to focus on thecharacteristics of each hospital sectors and their perceptions to influence their creativeness.
