글쓰기 교수법 개선을 위한 티칭 포트폴리오 구성

Teaching Portfolio Components for the Improvement of Writing Teaching Method

이 연구의 목적은 대학 '글쓰기' 교과의 교수법 개선을 위해 '글쓰기' 수업의 특성을 고려한 티칭 포트폴리오 구성 요소와 요소별 작성법을 제시하는 것이다. 이를 위해 티칭 포트폴리오의 정의와 목적이 무엇인지를 살펴보고 '글쓰기' 교과에 적합한 티칭 포트폴리오 구성 요소를 살펴보았다. 티칭 포트폴리오는 교수가 교수 활동을 하는 데 필요한 일련의 과정과 자료들을 선별하여 정리함으로써 자기반성과 교수법 개선의 목적으로 활용되는 것이다. '글쓰기' 교과의 경우, 교수자의 자기반성과 교수법 개선뿐만 아니라, 교과 운영의 효율성을 위해 학생 개개인의 글쓰기 능력 향상 정도를 점검해 볼 수 있는 티칭 포트폴리오 모형이 필요하다. 이에 적합한 '글쓰기' 교과의 티칭 포트폴리오 구성 요소는 '교과에 대한 일반적인 개관', '수업 내용 및 방법', '평가'가 있으며, '글쓰기' 교과의 특성에 맞는 내용 기술 방법을 고민해야 한다. 글쓰기 티칭 포트폴리오는 교수가 별도의 시간을 할애해야 하고, 학생의 글을 수합하여 정리해야 한다는 점에서 교수에게는 번거로운 작업일 수는 있다. 그러나 대학필수라는 '글쓰기' 교과의 위상을 고려하고 교수법 개선이라는 목적을 달성하기 위해서는 글쓰기 티칭 포트폴리오를 도입하고 적극 활용할 수 있는 방안을 모색해야 할 것이다.

The purpose of this study is to suggest a components of a teaching portfolio considering the characteristics of 'writing' teaching to improve the teaching method of the university 'writing' curriculum. In this connection, it attempted to examine the definition and purpose of designing the teaching portfolio components appropriate to the 'writing' curriculum. The teaching portfolio is utilized for the purpose of the improvement of self-instruction and teaching method by the teacher through selecting and arranging a series of courses and data required for his teaching activity. In case of the 'writing' curriculum, a teaching portfolio model that allows not only the improvement of teacher's self-reflection and teaching method but also the efficiency of the curriculum operation is required to examine the improvement of the individual writing ability of students. Therefore, the factors of the teaching portfolio composition of the 'writing' curriculum in compliance are the 'general view of the curriculum', 'teaching contents and methods' and 'evaluation' and the content skills compliant to the characteristics of the 'writing' curriculum should be thought. From the fact that the writing teaching portfolio allows the teacher to have separate time, collect and arrange students' writings, it can be trouble work for the teacher. However, in order to consider the phase of the 'writing' curriculum as an entrance requirement of the university, and achieve the goal of teaching method improvement, a plan to introduce and positively utilize the writing teaching portfolio should be searched.
