A Study on the Spatial Function Analysis of the Dongnam Region

Recently, the Central Government tries to make 5+2 metropolitan economic region in the level of the National Land. The Dongnam region marks 40th economic scale in the World economic region, and is the second largest economic volume in Korea This paper tries to identify the functional characteristics of the Dongnam region through LQ analysis method. The specialized industry fields are 11 industries in Kyeongsangnamdo, 9 industries in Woolsan Metropolitan City, 5 industries Busan Metropolitan City. Otherwise, the specialized employment fields are 12 industries in Busan Metropolitan City, 6 industries in Kyeongsangnamdo, 5 industries in Woolsan Metropolitan City.
