15세기 국어 격 교체의 유형과 통사적 특성

A Study on the Patterns of case Alternation Construction and Grammatical Characteristics in the 15th Korean Language

이 논문은 15세기 국어 격 교체 구문의 유형을 종합적으로 검토하고, 이를 토대로 중세국어 격 교체 구문의 통사적 특성을 고찰하는 데 목적이 있다. 본고에서는 15세기 국어의 격 교체 유형을 크게 구조격과 구조격의 교체, 구조격과 의미격의 교체, 의미격과 의미격의 교체로 살폈다. 본 연구를 통해 15세기 국어가 현대국어보다 훨씬 다양한 격 교체의 유형이 존재했다는 사실을 확인할 수 있었다. 구조격과 구조격의 교체에서 주격과 목적격의 교체에는 목적어 인상 구문의 격 교체, 주어 인상 구문의 격 교체, 중간동사 구문에서의 교체, ‘-게 다’ 사동문에서 피사동주의 격 교체가 실현되었다. 보격과 목적격의 교체는 변성자동사 ‘외다’ 구문에서 나타났다. 속격과 주격, 속격과 목적격의 교체에 대해서도 살폈다. 구조격과 의미격의 교체는 존재동사 구문에서의 주격과 처격의 교체, 주격과 도구격의 교체, 비교동사 구문의 주격, 공동격, 처격, 도구격의 교체가 가능했다. 처격과 목적격의 교체는 이동동사, 태도동사, 심리동사, 인지동사, 사유동사, 화법동사 구문에서 두루 교체 현상을 확인할 수 있었다. 이밖에도 이동동사와 수여동사, 화법동사 구문에서 목적격과 도구격의 교체 현상에 역시 현대국어에 비해 다양한 동사 구문에서 가능했다. 의미격과 의미격의 교체는 처격과 도구격의 교체로 이동동사 구문과 결과동사 구문에서 실현되었다.

This paper aims at the investigation into the grammatical characteristics of the case alternation construction in the medieval Korean by considering the synthetic study of the sentences structure patterns in the 15th century's Korean. In this study, the patterns of the case alternation in the 15th century's Korean are mainly divided into alternation of the structural case and structural case, structural case and inherent case, and inherent case and inherent case. It is clearly confirmed that the 15th century's Korean has more patterns of the case alternation than those of the modern Korean. In the alternation of the structural case and structural case, alternation of nominative case and objective case, complement case and objective case, genitive case and nominative case and genitive case and objective case are examined. In the alternation of the structural case and inherent case, nominative case and locative case, nominative case and instrument case are examined. The alternation of locative case and objective case is frequently shown in the constructions including moving verbs, attitude verbs, psych verbs, cognition verbs, thought verbs, and speech verbs. Finally, alternation of inherent case and inherent case, locative case and instrument case are examined.
