Korean social movement and ethnic discrimination in Japan－from centering a few example of the labor movement in 1930－

This article is reviewed centrally from the labor movement with interrelation between Korean social movement and ethnic discrimination in 1930, Japan. First, in 1930 within Japan, it was an option that the Korean Labor Union in Japan(Jeilnochong), had joined to an affiliated organization of the Japanese National Council of Labor Union(Chonhyop), Japanese leftist union. And it is a way to overcome a limit not to lead the industrial unions service; that is, the reality faced with them at that time. Most labors had been speaking for discriminative reality of Korean residents in Japan, and spreading an joined organization throughout provincial cities in the late 1920. In the late 1929, executives of Jeilnochong decided that it (affiliated organization) joined to the affiliated organization of the Japanese leftist union, and since then they expanded industrial union activities under Chonhyop at each area. This decision was then criticized to follow up a religious faith determining the Comintern (Communist International), but actually Jeilnochong needs to remind the fact that it continues to pursue industrial unions service grounded on union state after establishment. The central executives of Jeilnochong guessed that they smoothly pushed ahead wide innovation measures named industrial unions service which was a long-cherished wish, which made use of utilization of logic by foreign forces called the same proletarian internationalism as they had. Korean activists carried out ways of organizations under a subsidiary of Chonhyop by utilizing a foundation of the existing support, or simultaneously they rallied some supporting labors by doing ethnic movement like a struggle of the national memorial day. The Chonhyop was continuos until 1934 thanks to some activities of korean. Second, I reviewed why Korean residents in Japan took an active part at Japanese leftist union like Chonhyop. In a word, the reason is an ethnic discrimination. Korean was scrutinized by a prosecutor with “Maintenance of the Public Order Act Violation” of judicature authorities, so they were fascinated with communism movement by various ethnic discrimination experiences everyday life. Thus, Koreans have conformed to the following means of ethnic liberation and class liberation. Those who regarded the colonial control of Japanese imperialism as the ringleader of the maximum to raise causes by the discrimination were progressive activities under the joined organization of Chonhyop.
