교회의 사회적 책임

The Social Responsibility of the Church: Theological Reflection.

교회의 사회적 책임이란 구약과 신약 성경에서 정언명법으로 주어져 있다. 사회적 책임 이행은 하나님에 대한 올바른 제사요예배이다. 사회적 참여와 복음 전파는 뗄 수 없는 짝이다. 구원은 영혼과 신체에 관련해서 통전적으로만 생각할 수 있다. 구원은 통전적 행위(ganzheitliches Handeln)로서 이루어진다. 교회의 사회봉사는 사회적으로 소외된 자들을 정신과 신체적으로 전인적으로 구원하는 것이다. 그러므로 교회는 전인적 구원행위를 위하여 이들이 인간존엄성을 가지고 새로운 삶을 살 수 있도록 사회의 불의한 구조를 변혁시키고자 한다. 그리하여 교회의 사회봉사는 "정치적 사회봉사"(politische Diakonie)가 된다. 영혼 구원이 없는 사회적 참여는 교회에게는 아무런 의미가 없다. 사회 복지 단체들도 봉사를 하고 있기 때문이다. 그러나 사회적 참여로 인한 사회적 발전으로 지상에서 하나님 나라를 이룰 수 없다. 기독교적 사회적 책임론은 근본주의, 비관주의와 자유주의, 낙관주의를 균형잡는 비판적 현실주의로 규정된다.

The social responsibility of the church is given as imperative from the AT and NT. The implementation of social responsibility is a right worship and service to God. Social responsibility and Gospel preaching are an unseparable pair. Salvation is to be thought wholistical in terms of soul and body. Salvation is earned as a wholistic act. Social service of the church is to save the socially alienated in terms of soul and body wholistically. Therefore, the church intends to change the unjust structure of society in order to live a new life in human dignity. Thus, social service of the church becomes the political diakonie. Social participation without salvation of the soul is no meaning for the church. For secular social welfare organization do a social service. However, we can not establish the Kingdom of God by means of the social development. The understanding of Christian social responsibility is to be characterized as a critical realism of balancing the pessimism, fundamentalism and optimism, liberalism.
