숲 체험 활동을 통한 수학프로그램이 유아의 수학적 태도에 미치는 효과

(The) effects of Mathematical Program based on Forest Experience Activities on Young Children's Mathematical attitude

본 연구는 숲 체험 활동이 유아의 수학적 태도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 분석하기 위한 목적을 가진다. 연구는 만 5세 유아 각각 30명을 실험집단과 비교집단으로 설정하여 2014년 6월 2일부터 8월 23일까지, 12주간 실험집단에는 숲 체험과 연계된 24회의 수학 프로그램을 적용하였고, 비교집단은 유치원 내에서의 수학프로그램을 적용하였다. 분석은 단변인 공변량분석을 사용하였다. 연구결과 숲 체험 수학프로그램 적용집단의 수학 선호도, 태도 자신감은 일반적인 수학 프로그램 적용집단에 비해 유의미한 수준 향상이 나타났으나, 학습열의, 유능감, 타인평가 인식은 일반적인 수학 프로그램 적용집단과 유사한 수준의 향상이 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 숲 체험 수학프로그램의 다양한 효과를 검증하고 자연친화적인 유아수학교육 방법의 기초를 제공한다는 의미에서 교육적으로 시사하는 바가 높다고 본다.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of mathematical program based on forest experience activities on the changes of mathematical attitude of children. For the participants of this study, 30 children were assigned to the experience group, 30 children were assigned to the control group. The program was given two session per week for 12 weeks. mathematical program based on forest experience activities was applied the experience group and general mathematical program was applied the control group. The collected data were analyzed by ANCOVA test. The result is as follows: First, preference, self-confidence level of the experience group was significantly higher than the level of the control group. there was a no significant statistical difference in ardor about the study, learning ability and assessment recognition of the another person.
