일본과 한국의 창의성 교육정책 비교 분석 연구

A Comparative Analysis of Creativity Education Policy in Japan and Korea

본 연구는 창의성 교육정책에 대한 일본과 한국의 비교를 통하여 우리나라 창의성 교육정책의 방향 및 시사점을 찾는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 첫째, 각 국의 창의성 교육정책 태동기의 특징을 살펴보았고, 둘째, 일본과 한국의 주요 창의성 교육정책을 비교, 분석하였으며, 셋째, 두 나라의 창의성 함양을 위한 교육과정 정책을 비교, 검토하였다. 이러한 비교, 분석 결과를 바탕으로 우리나라 창의성 교육정책 개선 방향에 대한 시사점을 제안하였는데 다음과 같다. 첫째, 창의성 교육정책에 대한 선도적 정책 결정 및 노력 필요, 둘째, 영재교육 중심이 아닌 모든 학생들을 위한 창의성 교육정책 추진 필요, 셋째, 창의성 교육의 '넓이'뿐만 아니라 '깊이'에 대한 관심 필요, 넷째, 수학, 과학 분야에 대한 창의성 교육 강화 필요, 다섯째, 창의성 교육을 위한 단위학교의 자율권 확대 및 교원의 역량 강화 등이 필요함을 제안하였다.

The purpose of this comparative study of Korea and Japan's creativity education policy is to present the problems the directions of improvement for ours. For this, this paper examined and compared the characteristic of each country on the historical background for the creativity education, the main creativity education policies, the curriculum policies, the specific program cases of creativity education and the future plans. Through this analysis, suggestions for the development of our country's creativity education are as follows; First, the historical practice is important for creativity education, so we need to plan and practice sustainable and long-term research in the field. Second, the active support and efforts of the national level is important, so government must be given specific goal rather than abstract goals and methods for teachers are required. Third, each school need to study for unique and distinctive creativity education with emphasis on the process rather than the documents for show. Fourth, teacher themselves need to get creativity and try to improve their expertise for pursuing high-quality creativity education. Eventually, true creativity education can be realized when the efforts of each agent are in harmony and social awareness for creativity education is raised.
