대학보직교원의 역량탐색 : IPA(Importance-Performance Analysis)를 활용하여

A Study on the Exploration of College Administrative Professors’ Competence : Apply on Importance-Performance Analysis

이 연구는 대학 보직교원이 갖추어야 할 역량이 무엇인지를 탐색하는데 있다. 이를 위하여 문헌분석 및 심층인터뷰를 통해 설문문항을 추출한 후, IPA 설문지를 개발하였고, 전국 11개 대학교의 교원과 직원 200명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 이중 성실하게 응답한 150부의 설문지를 IPA (Importance -Performance Analysis)와 T검증, 일원배치 분산분석방법을 사용하여 집단 간의 차이를 분석하였다. 연구 결과 대학보직교원에게 필요한 역량 중 중요도가 가장 높게 나타난 세 개의 항목은‘책임성’,‘의사소통’, ‘문제분석역량’으로 나타났고, 실행도가 가장 높게 나타난 세 개의 항목은‘리더십’,‘의사소통’,‘책임 성’으로 나타났다. 그리고 중요도와 실행도의 평균값이 가장 높게 나타난 세 개의 항목은‘책임성’,‘의사 소통’,‘리더십’으로 나타났다. 이에 비해, 중요도는 높으나 실행도가 낮아 집중적으로 개선되고 개발되어야 할 역량은‘헌신’,‘배려’,‘자기조절’로 나타났다. 탐색된 역량에 대한 집단별 차이분석 결과, 교원의 보직 경험이나 보직횟수는 차이가 나타나지 않은 반면, 교원의 연령대, 계열, 성별, 보직유형, 그리고 교원과 직원 집단에 따라서는 차이를 나타내었다.

The purpose of this study is to exploring of college administrative professors’ competence. The study methods are interview and IPA(Importance – Performance Analysis), T-test, and ANOVA. The interviewee of this study are 9 professors who had been college administrative professor or who are now college administrative professors. IPA survey questionnaire is developed according to interview result, 100 professors and 100 employee who are in 11 universities are IPA survey objects. The result of this study as follows. 1) The college administrative professors’ high important competence are‘responsibility’,‘communication skill’, and‘problem analysis skill’. 2) The college administrative professors’ high performance competence are‘leadership’, communication skill’, and‘responsibility’. 3) High importance and high performance competence are ‘responsibility’,‘communication skill’, and‘leadership’. 4) High importance and low performance competence are‘sacrifice’,‘concern’, and‘self regulation’ 5) There are significant differences in professors’ sexual group, age group, and administrative type.
