This paper aims at introducing and analyzing Ok-ji-gi옥지긔(4 volumes.) collected in the Library of Yonsei University. This manuscript is a archaic Korean translation of Chinese novel Yu-zhi-ji玉支璣. In the bibliography, the handwriting skill and binding shape convince us that this manuscript made in palace. Getting this manuscript, we can make a deep comparative study with the other Nak-seon-jae collection like Seng-pung-nyu셩풍뉴, Pyeong-san-naeng-yeon평산냉연. Comparing this manuscript with Nak-seon-jae text, we can verify that Ok-ji-gi was tlanslated into Korean in the 18th century. In this manuscript we can find out the word ‘baesada배사다’ which means ‘interrupt’, and ‘-dorok-도록’ which means ‘better than’. And there are the word ‘maeyahi매야히’ which means ‘cruelly’, ‘naedohi내도히’ which means ‘differently’ and ‘daeo되오’ which means ‘quickly’. These words are the vestige of medieval hangeul.
