The fashion of advocating popular entertainment in Jiangnan region provided a favored historic condition for the formation of the Huaben novels. The second, the beautiful geographic surrounding and specific regional personality in Jiangnan region established the geographic extension of the story and the feature of the characters in the Huaben novels. The third, the townspeople society created by the developed industry and commerce economy in the Jiangnan region not only cultivated a great amount of literati writers and townspeople readers, but also provided the printing technique to promote the spreading of the Huaben novels. The fourth, the pacific humanistic condition in the Jiangnan region also have gestated the careful narrative, the lyric expression and the humorous language in the Huaben novels.
