Huang Ren (Moxi), a famous litterateur and fiction theorist in late Qing Dynasty. A History of Chinese Literature, General New Encyclopedia and Brief Comments of Fiction are his masterpieces. In the pandect of A History of Chinese Literature does he put forward the standard of authenticity, goodness and beauty, which is accepted by Cai Yuanpei, Zeng Pu, Wang Guowei, Lu Qian, etc, Specifically, Pre-Qinand Han Dynasties are heydays according with the standard, rugged and staggered periods come from Jin to Yuan dynasty, Ming-Qing dynasty belongs to ambiguity stage. Weakening of authenticity is the main reason of rugged and staggered periods, which stimulates researchers to extend the vision to whole East Asia field of Chinese Literary. This approach is not only general reflection of civilization integration mentality, but also particular pursuit of transitional times. The part of Liao, Xixia and Korean Literature in A History of Chinese Literature is under this background. Korean work stake the largest number of Liao, Xixia and Korean Literature, in which Li Qixian’s poems account a large proportion. Investigating HuangRen’s source of Korean literary, contacting Huang and Li’s literature concept, HuangRen’s anthology view of attaching importance to classics and authenticity can be found out. In consciousness of generation literature, popular novels are popular in Ming-Qing dynasty. More than half of documents in Brief Comments of Fiction come to Korea. Authenticity and goodness are both missing in ambiguity stage, so HuangRen advocates aesthetic, treads different paths that lead to the same destination of the concept of fictional revolution. Fiction is firstly considered as differentiation of history part, cannot be equated with classics and history, however, should has attribute of historical facts. Korean scholars’ novel achievement evaluations are based on the degree of historical truth, which happens to hold the same view of Huang Ren. Under the influence, historicity of Korean modern novels is greatly strengthened. A History of Chinese Literature is short of contents of Qing dynasty, leaving foreign interpretation space and anticipation.
