The World View of Women Reflected in ‘Pragmatism Ideology

A study illuminated the practical and progressive policies of Cao Cao who unified the three kingdoms and established CaoWei regime, especially for his perspectives and policies for women. Caocao adopted the applicative and talent priority policy in general, and expanded its scope of application including getting women talents and their utilization. This paper covered diverse examples of Caocao applicative and talent priority policies for women not only culture, military, economy but also social sectors to know how he adopted ths policies throughout whole regime. Caocao challenged the limitation of Confucianism, moralism and formalism and tried to adopt applicative and open values for women and utilize them in place. He recognized that the value of women labor was almost equal with men’s and encouraged women to participate in the public area by granting rights and viable institutional equality through national policies. It made early women’s liberation-Or in modern society these issues are likely to be raised. Throughout this study, Caocao’s perspectives ahead of time could be reviewed and considered its impact and application through his era.
