SNS를 이용한 범죄의 피해실태 및 대처 방안에 관한 연구

A Study on the Crime Victimization Using SNS and their Countermeasures

Along with the development of information and communication, many types of social network services (SNS) in the cyber space have deeply been entrenched in our lives. However, while there are the right functions of SNS, there recently been adverse effects of it, that it, using SNS a means of crime. There are those who hacked into personal information of others or some people rob or commit a theft based on individual life patterns they get from locational information. Some use per-sonal information as a means to commit other crimes, commit a fraud in SNS or use it to commit a sexual offense. Therefore, this study suggests effective and systematic ways to deal with these crimes by analyzing the newest trends on SNS and crime-specific characteristics as well as damages. In addition, legal systems of foreign countries on cyber-crimes have comparatively been analyzed and the author proposes legislative measures to deal with these crimes and the ways to cooperate between government agencies for investigation.
