성매매피해 여성의 공동체 생활경험에 관한 근거이론

The Grounded Theory on the Group Home Life Experience by Female Prostitution Victims: With a Focus on Group Home Participants

본 연구는 성매매피해여성의 그룹홈 공간에서의 공동체 생활경험을 이해함으로써, 사회복귀를 희망하는 성매매피해여성에 대한 사회복지적 개입을 이끌고자 함이다. 이러한 연구 목적을 달성하기 위해서 질적 연구방법 중 Strauss & Corbin(1998)이 제시한 근로이론방법론으로 접근했으며 총 9명이 연구에 참여하였다. 연구 참여자들과의 심층면담을 통해 얻은 자료를 이론적 민감성을 가지고 지속적으로 개방코딩 한 결과 총197개의 개념과 44개의 하위범주, 17개의 범주가 도출되었다. 이를 요약해보면, 중심현상을 생성시키는 인과적 조건은 '궁지에 몰림' '홀로 살아남기' '유폐적 분리'이며, 참여자들의 경험이 중심현상인 '과거의 고리에 묶여있음' '무리 속에 홀로 떠돌기'를 중심축으로 전개되는 것으로 나타났다. 이에 영향을 미친 맥락적 조건은 '공격성' '심리적 위축' '꺾여진 꿈', 작용/상호작용 전략을 촉진시키거나 억제하는 중재적 조건은 '성찰성' '우리라는 인식'이었으며, 결과는 '자기 삶 드러내기' '마음의 평화' '보통의 삶'으로 분석되었다.

This study seeks to understand the experience of female prostitution victims at group homes and to promote the intervention enabled by social welfare for these victims who wish to join the mainstream society. For the purpose of this study, an Strauss & Corbin's (1998) qualitative approach of the grounded theory was taken, and nine participants took part in the research. Based on the in-depth interview with the participants, I open-coded the data with theoretical sensitivity and came up with a total of 197 concepts, 44 subcategories and 17 categories. In summary, the causal conditions influencing the core phenomenon were 'being cornered', 'surviving alone', and 'confined separation'; it was found that the experience of the participants developed principally from the core phenomena - 'linked to the past' and 'isolated in the group'. It was influenced by the contextual conditions - 'aggressiveness', 'psychological withdrawal', and 'broken dream'; the intervening conditions that encourage or inhibit action/interaction on core phenomenon were 'introspection' and 'the sense of we'. It was found that the result was 'revealing one's life', 'peace of mind' and 'ordinary life'.
