시설입소 정신장애인과 지역사회 정신장애인의 행복감에 영향을 미치는 요인에 대한 연구

A Study on Factors Affecting Happiness of Mentally Disabled Persons Who live in Institutions and in Community

본 연구는 시설입소 정신장애인과 지역사회 정신장애인의 행복감에 영향을 미치고 있는 요인은 무엇인지 알아보기 위하여 시설입소 정신장애인 127명과 지역사회 정신장애인 363명을 대상으로 단축형 행복척도를 사용하여 행복감을 측정하였다. 결과 분석은 ANOVA 분석 및 다중회귀 분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과 두 집단 공통적으로 자아존중감이 가장 영향력 있는 영향요인으로 나타났으며 그 다음으로 취업유무가 공통적인 영향요인으로 확인 되었다. 그러나 그 외의 영향요인들은 집단 별로 서로 다르게 작용하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 즉 시설입소 정신장애인의 행복감에 영향을 미치는 요인으로는 동료관계, 프로그램 경험, 성별, 정신과적 증상, 경제적 여유, 일상활동이 유의미한 것으로 나타났다. 또한 지역사회 정신장애인에게는 자기통제감, 신체적 건강, 가족관계, 학력, 결혼유무가 유의미한 영향요인으로 작용하고 있 음을 확인할 수 있었다. 이러한 결과를 근거로 정신장애인이 소속된 서비스 유형별 특성화 전략과 행복 지향 정신보건 실천 및 정책에 대한 제언을 하였다.

This study aimed to examine what is factors affecting happiness of the two groups with mental disorders. For this, Concise Measure of Subjective Well-Being wa\s used to measure Subjective Well-Being of 127 individuals who lived in institutions and 363 individuals who lived in community. And ANOVA analysis and multiple regression analysis were conducted. The results were as follows. Self-esteem were the most meaningful factor equally affecting happiness of the two groups. And vocational state were the next meaningful factor. But other factors were affecting differently against the two groups. Peer relationship, experience of program, sex, psychiatric symptom, personal expenses, daily activity were meaningfully affecting happiness of mentally disabled persons who lived in institutions. But sense of personal control, physical health, family relationship, school career, marriage state were meaningfully affecting happiness of mentally disabled persons who lived in community. On the basis of the study results, specialized strategy which is suitable to their service type, happiness-oriented practice and policy were suggested.
