신라 효소왕대의 『삼국유사』 기록 검토

Samgukyusa record review during king Hyoso of Silla -Focusing on the quaint side Jukjirang joe-

본 논문은 『삼국유사』 소재 효소왕대 기록 중 죽지랑조가 기이편에 편집된 이유를 밝히고, 나아가 효소왕대의 사실이라고 할 수 있는 기록이 무엇인지 규명하기 위해 시도되었다. 일연이 죽지랑조를 효소왕대에 해당하는 기이편에 수록한 것은 죽지랑, 득오, 익선 등의 등장인물과 함께 모량리의 탄압 사건을 효소왕대에 일어난 사건이라고 생각했기 때문이다. 죽지랑의 출생담과 모죽지랑가의 시대적 배경에 대해서 일연은 효소왕대가 아님을 분명히 했고, 첫 번째 이야기를 보완하는 의미에서 죽지랑 관련 다른 자료들을 수집해 편집한 것이다. 본고에서 살피지 못했지만, 죽지랑조보다는 탑상편의 백률사조, 감통편의 眞身受供가 기이편으로 적절하지 않을까 생각해본다. 과연 모량리의 탄압 사건이 효소왕대에 발생한 것인가라는 문제를 논의하기 위해 자료에 대한 분석 작업을 시도해 보았다. 일연이 전재했던 부분과 자신의 생각을 쓴 자술 부분으로 나누어 참고 문헌의 작성시기와 작성자를 추적해 보았다. 그 결과 모량리 탄압설화, 죽지랑 출생설화 등은 신라 하대에 문자로 작성된 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 모량리의 탄압설화 속에는 진평왕대 이후 효소왕대까지의 다양한 사건과 이야기들이 부회되어 전승되었고, 그것이 신라 하대에 수집 정리된 것으로 이해된다. 후대에 작성되었다고 그 기록 자체를 의심할 수 없으나, 역사적 사실을 추구하는데 있어 신중해야 할 필요성이 있다. 모량리의 탄압 사건을 효소왕대에 발생했다고 보지는 않지만, 강력한 왕권을 견지한 신라 중대에서나 가능했던 사건이 아닐까 생각한다. 죽지랑의 탄생 설화 역시 경덕왕 이후, 흥덕왕대를 전후에서 정리되었을 것으로 보았다. 모죽지랑가는 죽지랑 사후 작성된 것이 아닐까 추론해 보았다.

This study is to uncover the reasons for writing the story of Jukjirang into the quaint side(紀異篇) Samgukyusa. Ilyeon knew that king Hyoso when the events of oppression Moryangri occurred. Jukjirang birth and Mojukjirangga is a not a king Hyoso happened when Ilyeon was clearly aware of. Ilyeon is edited Jukjirang to collect other relevant data in the sense that complements the first story. King Hyoso did indeed suppress the Moryangri? To solve this problem, try the analysis of the data. I was separated directly writings and quoted article. So I was tracking the creation time and author of reference. As a result, Moryangri repression Tales and Birth tales of Jukjirang that I found written in the late Silla. The story of oppression Moryangri would imply a variety of events to king Hyoso from Jinpyeongwang. And it will be organized to collect the late of Silla. We can not doubt the record itself has been created to posterity. However, there is a need to pursue a historical fact to be careful. The repression of Moryangri can not say for sure events of king Hyoso. But I think that this had occurred in the Middle Ages of Silla the king has a strong power. Birth tales of Jukjirang looked to have been created between king Gyeongdeok from king Heungdeok. Mojukjirangga is thought to be written after the death of Jukjirang.
