As modern society becomes more professionalized and competitive, people tend to seek a sense of self-worth and tend to show their psychological advantage. Especially, hair coloring is the easiest way to maximize self-image in accordance with perm, dyeing, and hairstyling. Hair coloring may highlight personal distinctive characteristics, so it helps to get self-satisfaction by increasing their own values. This study shows how treatments affect hair color while bleaching by measuring the change of chromaticity in accordance with oxidizing ratio and using treatments. When decoloring, it shows that the higher the ratio of the oxidant, the lower the lightness (L*). Also, the lightness (L*) and yellowness (b*) are higher on the liquid type polypeptide(PPT) treated group in condition of the oxidizing ratio 1:1. In addition, we confirmed that the lightness (L*) on cream-type treatment was lower than liquid type PPT. Thus, we can expect that using liquid type treatments help to minimize hair damage and help to enhance hair brightness while bleaching.
