The actual situation is that there are many problems due to heat loss from buildings using reflective insulators so studies for this are urgent. Therefore, the study is aimed at analyzing a resistive insulator and a reflective insulator comparatively and providing basic data to develop a reflective insulator with excellent efficacy and experiments were conducted through specimens and the following results were obtained. When external temperature of a specimen is low and internal temperature of a specimen is high, the efficacy of styrofoam was better than a reflective insulator. This phenomenon can be said that it shows a phenomenon once again that if there are other substances on reflective materials, insulation efficacy of a reflective insulator drops. However, it was found that when external temperature of a specimen was higher than internal temperature, a reflective insulator using honeycomb had the best insulation efficacy and the insulation efficacy dropped in the order of styrofoam, a reflective insulator with punctured honeycomb and the existing reflective insulator. When gathering up the experiment results, it is judged that measures are required to be planned since it was found that with the construction methods using reflective insulators that are currently used in a construction site, insulation efficacy was not constant and different according to seasons (summer, winter)
