漢和辞書における梗․曾摂韻の字音規定の問題点

On the Kana Notation of the Geng and Zeng Rhyme Groups in Sino-Japanese Dictionaries

本稿では、漢和辞書6種を対象に、2010年の新常用漢字2,136字の中で梗․曾摂韻に属する漢字について、その字音規定の問題点を類型ごとに分類して分析した。その結果をまとめると以下のようである。１)鼻音韻尾を有する梗摂韻の明․泥母字を鼻音で表記している字音形を慣用音と規定している辞書があるが、これは漢音と規定すべきである。２)耕韻と庚韻の-au>ou/-aku形とei/-eki形の一方のみを漢音と規定し、一方を慣用音と規定している辞書があるが、両方とも漢音と規定すべきである。 ３)梗摂3․4等韻の-iN形について、他の漢和辞典では全て唐音に規定しているが、大漢和(1986)のみではこれを慣用音として規定している。梗摂3․4等の-iN形は唐音として規定すべきである。４)開口1等登韻の[登ト]は全ての辞書で慣用音と規定しているが、喉內鼻音韻尾を省略して1拍で受容した呉音の字音形として認めるのが望ましいと考えられる。５)蒸韻入声字の-oku形を慣用音と規定している辞書があるが、蒸韻入声字は現在その字音形を-iki形で維持しているものは呉音と認め、他の呉音形は、乙類は-oku形で、甲類は-joku形で規定するのが望ましい。以上のように、梗․曾摂韻に限って見ても、漢和辞書における字音規定には色んな問題点が見つかる。従って、これからも古文献に基づく帰納的な研究がもっと要求され、また、その研究成果が積極的に漢和辞書の編纂に取り入れられなければならないと考えられる。

While common kanji is a basic subject of phoneme study in the Japanese language, there is no classification in Sino-Japanese in common kanji tables and no unified standard for each Sino-Japanese form for the development of a dictionary. This study examined the kana notation of Sino-Japanese, focusing on the geng(梗) and zeng(曾) rhyme groups classified by types as go'on, kan'on, to'on and kanjo'on, and came to the following conclusions: 1) Even with an initial nasal sound in the geng(梗) group, types having a nasal ending can be classified as a kan'on. 2) Both -au>ou/-aku types and -ei/-eki types must be classified under kan'on in the rhymes geng(耕) and geng(庚). 3) Those with the nasal ending -ng accepted as a -N(ン) must be classified as to'on. 4) Not only tou(登) of two mora but also to(登) of one mora in deng(登) rhymes need to be classified as a go'on. 5) Not only the -iki type but also -oku and -joku types must be classified as go'ons when possessing the stop ending of a zheng(蒸) rhyme. There are many problems in Sino-Japanese dictionaries like those with the geng(梗) and zeng(曾) rhyme groups. Therefore, a posteriori research through old texts is very important to the study of Sino-Japanese, and the products of such research must be accepted in the editing of dictionaries.
