The Impact of Demographic Factors to Consumer's Awareness of Certificate for Fishery Products

This study aims to examine awareness of each certification system in current fishery product certification system and find out demographic variables that affects the awareness of the certificate system. In first result, study shows that perception of Fisheries Products HACCP is most highest and Geographical Indication System and Seafood Traceability System stand under each 30% and 40%. But it revealed that each 84.3% and 78.6% of them doesn't not recognize in History of Fishery Products and Geographical Indication System. Second result shows that the impact on demographic factors to recognition difference are very small due to low awareness of certification systems in fishery product. But academic background was found that a number of factors that affect to perception of Green Fish and Fisheries Products HACCP. The result of the follow-up inspection for variance analysis, college graduates are higher than high school graduates in awareness.
