The Consideration about The Large Pottery Jar of Giho District Proto-Three-Kindom Period

기호지역 원삼국시대 대형토기옹은 서울·경기지방에서는 주거유적에서, 충청지방에서는 토광묘·주구묘·옹관 등의 墳墓 유적에서 출토되었다. 대형토기옹은 높이 45cm 이상의 대형토기 중에서 口徑이 30cm 이상이며, 口徑이 頭部 지름보다 넓은 기형으로 규정하였다. 大形土器甕은 구경부의 형태에 따라 外反口緣長頸甕을 I類, 直口甕을 II類로 분류되며, 口徑部의 형태, 胴體의 형태, 底部의 형태 등을 기준으로 속성간의 상관관계를 검토하여 5단계로 구분하였다. 대형토기옹은 기호지방의 원삼국시대 주거지에서 저장용기, 분묘유적에는 부장품·의례용·관 등으로 용도 분화되지 않은 상태로 사용된다. 원삼국시대 기호지방에서 출토되는 대형토기옹은 차츰 변화되어 외반구연장경옹은 선황리식 옹관으로, 직구옹은 송산식 옹관으로 이어지다 외반구연장경옹은 3세기 중반 이후로 소멸되고, 직구옹이 A.D.4세기 이후 영산강유역에서 專用甕棺으로 변화 발전되어 가는 것으로 판단된다.

In Seoul and Gyoung-gi provmce, the large pottery jar of Giho district Proto-Three-Kindom Period was excavated in the residence remains and in Chung-cheong province, it was found in the grave remains, for example, pit-tomb, ditch of ditch-tomb, pot coffin. In Giho district Proto-Three-Kindom Period, the large pottery jar was used for a store ware and in the grave remains, it was used with a indifferenciated shape, for example, grave goods, ceremony and coffin, etc ... The large sized earthen ware excavated in Giho district Proto-Three-Kindom Period was changed step by step from jar long-necked and externally-curved mouth to grave coffin of Seonwhangri-style and from jar with straight mouth to songsanri-style pot coffin. Jar long-necked and externally-curved mouth disapeared since the mid-3rd century and ar with straight mouth was changed and developed since AD. 4th century in the Young-san river.
