3D 프린터, 그리고 미술과 미술교육에서의 변화

3D Printer, the Changes in Art and Art Education

본 연구는 다가오는 미래의 산업구조 전반에 큰 변화를 가져올 3D 프린터의 가능성에 대한 탐색으로 특별히 미술과 미술교육에서의 변화를 살펴보고 있다. 이에 선행적고찰로 3D 프린터 활용에 대한 미술과 교육 분야의 연구 그리고 디지털 미디어 시대의 현대미술과 미술교육에 대해 살펴보았다. 이론적 배경을 통해 3D 프린터의 활용이 미술에 가져올 변화에 대해 첫째, 조형적 가능성의 확장, 둘째, 삶과 예술 경계의 해체, 셋째, 진정한 의미의 융합으로 설명하였다. 3D 프린터는 조형의 실험적․독창적 작업방식에 도움을 주며 1인 디자인시대를 엶과 동시에 분야 간 경계의 파괴를 초래할 것이다. 그리고 3D 프린터의 활용이 미술교육에 가져올 변화에 대해서는 첫째, 조형 활동의 새로운 변화, 둘째, 연결로서의 융합교육으로 설명하였다. 3D 프린터는 디지털 창작도구로서의 가치를 지니며, 조형에 대한 새로운 이해와 적용을 바탕으로 융합교육으로서의 미술의 위상을 높여줄 것이다. 한편, 본 연구는 가능성의 타진으로 조형교육에서의 3D 프린터의 활용방안과 프로그램 구안 등 후속 연구가 이루어져야 한다.

This study specifically looks at the changes in art and art education to explore the potential for 3D printers bring significant changes to the structure of the industry coming future. Thus in the preceding study, looked at the study of art and education for the 3D printer utilization. Through the theoretical background, I explained that changes bring the art of utilizing 3D printers. First, expansion of the formative possibilities, second, dismantling the boundary between life and art, and third, the convergence of the true meaning. 3D printer helps in modeling of experimental and creative ways of working and opening each person design era. At the same time, it will result in the destruction of the inter-sector boundary. And I explained that changes bring the art education of utilizing 3D printers. First, new changes in the formative activities, second, convergence education as connections. 3D printers have the value as a digital creative tools and will enhance the status of art as convergence education based on the new understanding and application of modeling. This study is the percussion possibilities, therefore, further research should be done for application of 3D printers in the formative education and program design, etc.
