수학-신체 연계활동이 영아의 수학적 개념에 미치는 영향

The Effect of the Mathematics-Physical Connected Activities on Toddler’s Mathematical Concepts

본 연구는 수학-신체 연계활동이 영아의 수학적 개념에 미치는 영향을 알아보는데 목적이 있다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위하여 G시에 소재한 어린이집 두 곳의 영아 28명(실험집단 14명, 비교집단 14명)을 연구대상으로 선정한 후 8주간 실험집단 영아를 대상으로 수학-신체 연계활동을 실시하였다. 그 결과 수학-신체 연계활동에 참여한 실험집단 영아의 수학적 개념 전체 점수와 모든 하위범주의 점수가 비교집단에 비해 유의하게 향상된 것으로 나타났다. 이에 수학-신체 연계활동이 영아의 수학적 개념 전반에 결쳐 효과적임을 알 수 있었다.

The purpose of this study was to make a comparison of the effect of the mathematics-physical connected activities on toddler’s mathematical concepts. To examine this, the participants of were 28 toddles from two Daycare-Center in G-city. The mathematics-physical connected activities treated to the experiemental group for 8 weeks period. The results of this study are as follows. The experimental group who participated in the mathematics-physical connected activities performed better in all areas of the mathematical concepts test and sub-categories(categorization, number, space, measurement and order) of the mathematical concepts test than control group. In conclusion, the infant’s mathematical concepts were improved by using mathematics-physical connected activities.
