이혼 예방을 위한 예비부부교육 요구도 분석

Analysis of Premarital Education Needs for Divorce Prevention : Focused on Domestic Violence

한국보건사회연구원의 한국인의 행복결정요인과 행복지수에 관한 연구(2008)에서는 개인적 관계, 지역사회, 건강, 주거, 경제적 안정 등을 포함하는 16개 행복결정요인 중에서 ‘현재 가족(결혼)생활에 대한 만족도’가 중요도 1위였고, ‘자신에 대한 자아 존중감 정도’와 ‘가족의 건강수준’이 2위를 차지했다. 이처럼 가족이 개인의 행복과 밀접한 관련을 맺고 있음에도 불구하고 아동학대를 비롯한 가정폭력은 여전히 줄어들지 않고 있다. 1970년대에 본격적으로 시작된 가정폭력에 대한 연구는 현재 현황과 영향을 알아보는 것에 초점이 맞추어지고, 예방을 위한 연구는 극히 제한되어있다. 예비부부교육은 선행연구들을 통해 효과가 검증되었으나, 최근 변화하는 결혼관과 부부관계를 반영하는 교육 내용에 대한 연구는 미비한 실정이다. 따라서 이 연구는 가정폭력으로 비롯된 이혼을 예방하기 위한 예비부부교육의 필요성을 인식하고 예비부부교육의 개발에 도움이 될 수 있는 기초자료를 제공하는데 목적을 두었다. 아울러 가정폭력과 예비부부교육의 현황과 한계점을 살펴보고, 예비부부교육의 내용 구성을 위해 실시한 요구도 조사 결과분석을 통해 가정폭력과 이혼을 예방하는 방안들을 제시하였다.

This According to ‘A Study on Determinants of Happiness and Happiness Index for Korean People (2008)’ written by Korea Institute for Health and Social Affairs, of 16 determinants of happiness including individual relations, local community, health, residence, and economic stability, ‘satisfaction with the present family (marital) life’ turned out to be the most important and ‘the level of self-esteem for myself’ and ‘the health level of my family’ the second important. However, although family has a close relationship with individual’s happiness, domestic violence including child abuse is not declining. Studies on domestic violence that began in earnest in 1970s have focused on examining the present state and influence, but there have been few studies on its prevention. Although the effect of premarital education was verified through preceding research, there are almost no studies on education reflecting the recently changing view of marriage and conjugal relations. Thus, the purpose of this study was to recognize the need of premarital education for prevention of divorce caused by domestic violence, and provide baseline data contributing to developing premarital education. In addition, it examined the present state and limitation of domestic violence and premarital education, and suggested measures to prevent domestic violence and divorce through the results of demand analysis conducted to make the content of premarital education.
