This study analyzed the patterns and effects of the agri-food export country using gravity model and the policy implications derived from it. Analysis results are as follows. Korea trade pattern of agri-food exports showed consistency with the theory of gravity model. Agri-food exports to South Korea is proportional to the size of economies of scale and geographical distance and was inversely. However, free trade agreements impact on the agri-food exports were found viscosity is not clearly explained. Implications of the study are as follows. Taking into account the market size and proximity of geographic distance for the agri-food export market expansion will be pursued. And it seems to require a new way of free trade agreements concluded in accordance with the agri-food export market expansion.
