An Exploratory Study on the Preferential Validity of Korea-China-Japan Undersea Tunnel

연구목적: 본 논문은 최근 거론되고 있는 한중일 3국간 해저터널의 타당성과 함께 한중과 한일 해저터널 중 어느 곳을 우선적으로 건설할 것인가에 대한 탐색이 연구의 목적이다. 논문구성/논리: 본 논문은 총 5장으로 구성하였다. 제1장은 동북아 지역경제와 물류 및 해저터널전반에 대해 기술하면서 본 논문 연구의 방향을 제시하였다. 제2장은 동북아 한중일 3국의 일반적인 물류환경에 대하여 기술하였으며 제3장은 해저터널의 전반적인 환경과 한중일의 각 국가별 해저터널에 대한 현황을 분석하였다. 제4장은 물류관점에서 한중일 3국의 해저터널 건설과 관련된 국가별 역학관계를 분석하면서 한중과 한일 해저터널의 우선적 타당성에 대해 정리하였다. 제5장은 본 논문 전반에 대해 종합적으로 정리하여 결론지었다. 결과: 동북아 한중일 3국의 해저터널 건설에서 한중과 한일 해저터널 중 우선적 타당성을 위한 탐색적 연구를 통해 볼 때 중국입장에서는 해상교량 또는 해저터널을 건설하여 한국과 중국의 인구가 집중된 중부지역을 직접 연결하는 한중 해저터널을 구상하고 있으며 한중 해저터널이 건설되면 한국과 중국은 고속철도망 연결도 가능할 것으로 보고 있다. 일본입장에서는 한일 해저터널 건설 논의가 구체화되면서 육상으로의 연결을 통한 동북아 대륙국가 일원으로의 편입을 구상하고 있다. 한 국입장에서는 한중과 한일터널의 건설에 있어서 기술적, 경제적, 공기 및 공사비용, 국제적 관계 등 여러 상황을 고려하면서 추진을 위한 본격적 논의를 진행하고 있다. 독창성/가치: 동북아 지역에서의 경제통합과 물류의 비용절감 및 효율성을 위해 거론되고 있는 한중과 한일 해저터널의 우선적인 건설을 위한 타당성을 탐색적으로 연구하였다. 한국과 중국 그리고 일본의 물류환경과 해저터널 및 국제적 타당성의 관계를 규명하고자 하였다.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to investigate validity of Korea-China-Japan undersea tunnel along with exploring where the undersea tunnel should be constructed first among Korea-China and Korea-Japan undersea tunnel. Composition/Logic: This study is composed of total 5 chapters. In chapter 1, this study proposed the direction of this study by describing about regional economy of Northeast Asia, distribution, and undersea tunnel in general. Chapter 2 is on general distribution environment of the three countries as Korea, China, and Japan, and Chapter 3 analyzed general environment of the undersea tunnel and present condition of undersea tunnel of each country of Korea, China, and Japan. In chapter 4, this study analyzed the dynamics related to the construction of undersea tunnel of Korea, China, and Japan from distribution point of view and explained preferential validity of Korea-China and Korea-Japan undersea tunnel. In chapter 5, overall contents of this study were arranged comprehensively and formed a conclusion. Findings: According to the exploratory study for preferential validity in construction of the undersea tunnel of Korea, China, and Japan among Korea-China undersea tunnel and Korea-Japan undersea tunnel, China was laying plans for constructing the marine bridge or undersea tunnel to connect the central region where population of Korea and China is centralized in, and construction of Korea-China undersea tunnel will make the high-speed railroad network possible between the two countries. Originality/Value: This study investigated validity for preferential construction of Korea-China and Korea-Japan undersea tunnel which is being raised for economic integration, cost reduction, and efficacy of distribution in Northeast Asia. This study intended to define distribution environment of Korea, China, and Japan, and a relationship between undersea tunnel and international validity
