지역특성에 따른 여가활동의 질적 활성화 방안

Local Leisure Identities and Interactions as a Basis for the Promotion and Development of Leisure Activities - the Case of Kyeongju Region -

본 연구는 삶의 질 뿐 만 아니라 다양한 측면에서 여가에 대한 의미가 증대되고 여가활동에 대한 관심과 기대가 높아지고 있는 현실에서, 경주시를 사례지역으로 여가환경과 여가문화 및 여가행태로서 여가활동 특성, 여가활동 요인, 여가활동 요인과 여가활동주체 속성과의 상호관계를 실증적으로 조사ㆍ분석하여 사회ㆍ문화적 변동에 따른 여가 특성의 변화를 규명하고 지역의 다양성과 특성이 반영된 여가활동의 질적 활성화 방안을 모색하고 관련된 정책적 시사점을 제시하고자 하였다. 연구결과, 여가문화 및 여가행태로서 여가활동의 만족도에 영향을 미치는 4가지의 여가활동요인이 도출되었으며, 이들 가운데 3가지 요인은 정(+)의 영향관계에 있었으며 변화된 여가 특성을 반영하고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 그리고 여가문화 및 여가행태는 지역의 여가환경, 즉 지역의 다양성과 특성이 여가활동에 직접적으로 영향을 미치고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 그리고 여가활동 특성으로서 15개 속성에 대한 중요도와 만족도의 포트폴리오 분석 결과 4가지 측면의 지역차원의 정책분야와 세부과제를 도출하여 여가환경 및 시설 차원에서 개선 방안을 제시하였다. 또한 여가활동요인과 여가활동주체 속성과의 관계 측면에서 각 특성별로 서로 상이한 여가문화 및 여가행태 차이를 확인할 수 있었으며, 이는 여가활동의 질적 활성화를 위해서는 지역의 다양한 여가활동주체들의 특성이 반영된 관계정책 및 전략에 대한 필요성을 시사하고 있다. 본 연구결과는 여가생활과 삶의 질 차원에서 지역특성에 따른 여가활동의 질적 활성화 방안을 강구하고, 여가활성화를 위한 정책적 자료를 제시하는 기회가 될 수 있을 것이다.

The purpose of this study is to explore the impacts of local leisure environment on the leisure activities, and relationships between socioeconomic traits and leisure behaviors. Specifically, the main purpose of this study is to discern how leisure policy relates to wider strategies and the initiative for improvement in quality of life at a local level. Sample of survey comprises 271 Kyeongju resident groups covered by stratified cluster random sampling method. The results of this study contain the follows: First, local leisure environment has an considerable influence on the leisure activities. That is, there is difference in the leisure participation and satisfaction according to local leisure environmental quality and leisure facilities. Second, four factors, which are an local inclination and ambiance as a representative type and style of leisure activities, have been extracted. Third, socioeconomic traits hive an influence on the leisure behavior, attitudes, and leisure-style. These findings indicate differences in the leisure participation and leisure satisfaction according to age, income level, occupation, and terms of residence. The findings of this study will provide future policy makers with much needed useful implications in leisure planning and management.
