An Assesment on Islamic Characterization of Saudi Arabia’s High Educational Policy

The objectives of research is to assess the Saudi Arabia’s educational goal through their programs and policies and to identify the principles of higher education system. The education policy and the department of higher education learning management system are direct to support systems and plan to the role of the Islamic education. In policy direction with the introduction of the higher education system is regarding to educational objectives and Islamic characteristics’ of the policy. Because, the Basic curriculum centered on Islamic doctrine, such as the Quran for religious education. And 70% of doctorate degree holders in Saudi are Islam Ph.D. For example, music and dance does not comply with the Islam, such as emotions are being excluded from the field of formal education. Also the gender education is quite clear to separate from the kindergarten, and school buildings or locations are separated by separating men and women. Saudi Arabia is concentrated on Islamic education and founded on this ideology. And Saudi government is focusing on the intensive high technical manpower for the Saudization at the labour market.
