A Study on the International Division of Labor and Trade Structure among Korea, China and Japan

The purpose of this study was to analyze the International Division of Labor and Trade Structure among Korea, China and Japan and present the implications and suggestions resulting from the research results. For this purpose, this study was analyzed as follows. First, as a theoretical background, this study explained the target industries(10 industries and HS classification), analysis methods(index and meaning), statistics(KITA trade data), and analysis period(10 years). Second, this study comparatively analyzed the trade structure among Korea, China and Japan. We comparatively studied the import and export by country, and the import and export by industry of the three countries. Third, this study examined the International Division of Labor in Korea, China and Japan, respectively. We compared the Grubel-Lloyd Index, Trade Specification Index, Revealed Comparative Advantage Index of the three countries.
