영상기술기법을 접목한 인문학 교육의 컨버전스 모델 구현

The purpose of this study is to propose the implementation of a convergence model that combines video technology techniques to increase interest in the humanities and enhance the creativity of learners who are indifferent to the humanities in the classroom. This study starts with the question of why interest in the humanities has decreased at universities. Learners who are accustomed to a digital environment and culture spend most of their time in image technology such as YouTube and movies. Neither text analysis nor Power point presentations as a form of communication in education attracts the attention of students any more. This paper presents a way to release a production and evaluate learners together, with the learners’ leading discussions on the creative process of class production. In addition, it discusses and critically analyzes American literary works. Applying image technology techniques to American literature is very effective for learners in a university level liberal arts education. Thus, this study expects that an in-depth follow-up study of a practical convergence model could be developed through interdisciplinary research.
