Improving the process of finishing work according to the size of construction companies

Current construction makes a effort to improve the productivity of labor in residential projects. Fishing work frequently causes a schedule delay due to inefficient construction management. For the purpose of effective finishing work, some companies adopted TACT process technique that enables each task is placed n a continuous line, when it is associated with other tasks. The main objective of this study is to identify causes of delays in finishing work from the perspective of workers and to suggest better solutions. In order to identify those factors that have impact on the labor productivity, interviews combined with questionnaires were conducted. A total of 64 workers were participated in the survey. Based on the results of the survey, a quantitative analysis was conducted and as a result, several driving factors were recognized. In additions, some recommendations were also suggested based on the interviews with finishing workers. This study ultimated enables construction companies to have better performance in schedule and cost with efficient management skills for finishing work.
