An Empirical Study on the Residential Moving Motive of the North Korean defectors

The purpose of this study is to explore residential moving motive of the of North Korean Defectors. For analyzing, I made characteristic factors of North Korean defectors based on the advanced research and made a hypothesis to accomplish the purpose of research. We conducted multi-logistic model regression to verify hypothesis about residential mobility of North Korean defectors. There is a summary of results of analysis. First, there are differences in residential mobility motive by personality of North Korean defectors. Especially wage, the cost of income and living level makes a difference of result. Second, there are differences in residential mobility motive by residential properties of North Korean defectors. Especially tenure type and residential district makes a difference of result. Third, there are differences in social motive by personality of North Korean defectors. Especially residential period makes a difference of result. As a result of this research, it is necessary to understand and analysis residence characteristics of North Korean defectors in terms of Real Estate
