여수시 통신 역사박물관 설립계획에 관한 고찰

여수지역에는 옛날부터 통신관련 역사유적과 유물이 봉수대, 솟대, 등대, 거문도 최초 해저케이블 설치 등으로 통신의 역사적 가치가 존재하고 있다. 그러므로 관광문화 산업과 연계하여 통신박물관이나 과학관을 설립하여 통신의 중요성을 인식시키고 교육장으로 활용하여 지역민과 국민들에게 공헌 할 수 있도록 건립을 추진하고자한다.
