An Exploratory Study on the Determinants of Ethical Decision-Making

The issue of the ethical decision-making is very important today. Nevertheless, the lack of a systematic review of previous studies on ethical decision-making results in shortage of research on ethical decision-making. Based on this perception, this article was classified by O'Fallon, M. J & Butterfield, K. D(2005)' schemes which separated into personal factors, organizational factors, and moral strength about the existing ethical decision-making studies. It was examined more specifically that any variables could be included in the personal factors, organizational factors, and moral strength. In addition, we examined relevance of the variables and ethical decision-making. Finally, we suggested the variables(ex. opportunity) excluded in the previous reviews, in spite of key issue which is discussed in the field of public administration.
