The Management of Local Governance and Partnership - centered on the consciousness of Chungcheongbuk-do residents -

Local governance can accomplish several policies which cannot be enforced by the government due to matters of expenses and manpower. The system is like a good companion, inducing the residents' participation and understanding to operate administration together. The government, market, and NGOs must cooperate in order to present an efficient, continuing local community management. In this study, the partnership of the residents, civil service, and NGOs was demonstrated and analyzed, along with the management of local governance depending on partnership. As a result, the partnership between residents and civil service was the highest, and it was thought desirable for the NGO to become the management subject, which had the highest partnership. Also, local governance management should be differently established depending on the level of partnership. As for a rightful local governance establishment, the partnership of a local community must be strengthened.
